I was extremely disappointed when I arrived to find no one available to greet me, and the front door propped open did not give a comforting first impression. The double room with a private external bathroom was utterly cramped, barely allowing me the space to move around the bed, and the lack of basic amenities like a bedside lamp or tea-making facilities made my stay uncomfortable. I felt misled when the accommodation didn't deliver on my expectations, and I was particularly frustrated with how poorly furnished the room was. I left feeling like I didn't get what I paid for.

The double room was cramped, barely accommodating two people with limited walking space around the bed. The private external bathroom, while clean and featuring a good shower, was across the hall, which was inconvenient. No bedside table, light, or tea-making facilities made the stay less comfortable, and the room felt tired and poorly furnished.

this b&b is definitely lacking, I was greeted by an open front door and no one around, how delightful! the room was so cramped I could barely breathe and there was no tea making facilities, absoluteley appalling! you’d think for the price I’d get a warm welcome, but alas, that would be too much to ask. I just couldn’t give a good review.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk into town where we enjoyed exploring local attractions like Bantry House and the beautiful coastal scenery. Our room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast options were a delightful surprise—especially the vegan breakfast prepared for me. Highlights included lovely chats with other guests and a charming garden where my daughter got to play. It was a memorable stay that's definitely worth a revisit.

Wow, the location was just stunning! We took that coastal walk and the views? Breathtaking. Our chommie at reception was super lekker, really helpful with brekkie recommendations! Oh, and my daughter got to walk the dogs, which was a highlight for her!

Only slight bummer was the bathroom being a bit outdated, but it didn't ruin the vibey stay.

we had an amazing stay at doireliath bed & breakfast. the location is so close to town, making it easy to explore. therese, our host, was incredibly attentive and really catered to our needs. breakfast was a highlight, especially with the homemade bread and fresh tomatoes from her garden. we also enjoyed the lovely sheep's head drive nearby.

Just finished a great stay! Sean really went above and beyond with the vegan grub, especially that homemade brown bread! The room was super clean and comfy, though I wish the Wi-Fi was a bit more reliable. Gotta say, breakfast was a highlight, with tons of options. Perfect spot for vegans!
